Studies in the History of Music Theory and Literature
Established in 2006 and published by the University of Illinois Press, Studies in the History of Music Theory and Literature (SHOMTL) is a series of individual monographs, editions, translations, catalogues, and bibliographies pertaining to the Center's broad areas of interest and its specific projects. SHOMTL continues the traditions established by Publications of the Center for the History of Music Theory and Literature and Greek and Latin Music Theory, both of which have ceased publication. The first three volumes of SHOMTL are now available and the fourth volume will be available in the Fall. Additional volumes are in progress.
