Typed search Results
sentire Finds texts that contain “sentire” or “risentire” or “presentire” etc.
punto armonico Finds texts that contain both “punto” (or “contrappunto” etc.) and “armonico” (or “filarmonico” or “disarmonico” etc.)
romani OR greci Finds texts that contain either “romani” or “greci” but not necessarily both
"buoni sonatori" Finds the exact phrase “buoni sonatori”
"musica e poesia" AND epica Finds texts that contain the exact phrase “musica e poesia” and also the word “epica”
"arti*" Finds texts that contain “arti” or “parti” or “artista” etc. but not “partitura” (the latter word neither starts nor ends with ‘bouche’ exactly)
" parti" [double quotes, leading space] Only the word “parti” is found
fal* bor* Finds texts that contain “falso” or “falla” etc. and “bortoli” or “laboriosi” etc. but not “trionfale” (the latter word neither starts nor ends with ‘fal’ exactly)
"fal* bor*" Finds “falso bordone” and “falsa bordonata”

N.B. In all searches with the asterisk, the search results page may also highlight “fuzzy” matches found in the documents, that is words that neither starts nor ends with the searched string exactly. This happens if legitimate hit is found. Such “courtesy” highlighting does not mean that all texts with these words were found.
